THE BOAT
Petit Pied
A production boat: 6.5 meters long, it can have over 100 square meters of space that can be managed single-handed, day and night.
Built to sail in the trade winds, it has a round bow, so as to cross the Atlantic in a single glide.
First stage: leaving the Bay of Biscay and descending into Portugal
The most technically challenging part: braving the low pressure of the Atlantic, keeping the boat intact, and managing to emerge first. A true test of strength for the skipper and the boat.
Second stage: the search for the trade winds and life alone
Head towards the sunset and interpret the clouds and weather reports, find harmony with the boat: your only companion in the blue expanse made of waves and flying fish.
Until arriving in Guadalupe, the scent of land with all its dangers: reefs, fishing boats and rocks.

Solar panels and hydrogenerators
The boat is completely self-sufficient; I use the autopilot and recharge the batteries using nature's energy.
Give strength to the project, one wave at a time
Whether you choose to take on a stage or the entire crossing, there's room for you in this challenge towards the Mini Transat 2027.
