SAS 2026

Les Sables d'Olonne - Azores - Les Sables d'Olonne

From the Bay of Biscay to the Azores: a week in the open ocean, a masterclass in solo sailing.

The race departs from Les Sables-d’Olonne in July: a long westward route crossing the High Pressure zone, challenging sailors to adapt to the slow, relentless rhythm of the ocean.

After days at sea and nights chasing the wind, the approach to the Azores demands more tactical navigation, negotiating wind shadows, shifts, and fihing boats.
